09:05:37<danja>seems I´m booked into this hotel until Sunday, so Salzburg will have to wait
09:22:17<scor>I'd like to use the swig IRC logs for research purpose. Since they are public I figure it should be ok, but I'd want to make sure. anybody has any opinion?
10:35:59<mmmmmrob>ACTION w
10:36:27<mmmmmrob>dajobe++ # thanks for triplr, it is regularly useful :-)
14:10:16<mmmmmrob>ACTION waves to dajobe
14:10:52<mmmmmrob>dajobe: triplr does something funny converting my ntriples to rdf/xml - weird namespaces
14:10:56<mmmmmrob>dajobe: http://triplr.org/rdf/n2.talis.com/svn/playground/mmmmmrob/playdata/example-my-library/fdta207.n3
14:11:27<mmmmmrob>dajobe: I can't see what I've got wrong in the n3.
14:11:57<dajobe>hmmm
14:12:26<dajobe>yes that's correct
14:12:33<dajobe>since ntriples have no namespace declarations
14:12:39<dajobe>it doesn't try to guess them
14:13:01<mmmmmrob>dajobe: ah, I thought it pulled out namespaces for predicates and for types
14:13:04<dajobe>it's still legal
14:13:15<dajobe>it does for input syntaxes that have namespace declarations: rdf/xml, turtle
14:13:19<mmmmmrob>dajobe: yes, but I was hoping for 'pretty'
14:13:48<dajobe>not in this case. I guess it could try harder with some common prefixes
14:14:25<mmmmmrob>dajobe: ah, ok, I must have been doing other convs before.
14:14:45<dajobe>I guess ntriples is the only format that has no namespace decls
14:15:32<mmmmmrob>It's very easy for munging with command line tools though
14:15:53<dajobe>of course, that's why I made it line-oriented aka "grep" friendly
14:15:53<mmmmmrob>that's why I'm using it
14:16:07<dajobe>woo hoo
14:17:42<mmmmmrob>dajobe: ok, if the namespacing is as expected then I'll stop trying to work out what I did wrong. That's cool
14:17:50<mmmmmrob>dajobe: thanks

15:39:37<MacTed>spudgunner - wrong swig, I think... see topic

16:57:22<Shepard>danja: failing to understand http://hyperdata.org/blog/2008/10/24/a-bit-hammered/ :o
17:17:00<ghard>Shepard: Called him at the hotel. Nothing urgent/serious.
17:19:01<Shepard>didn't think so, just wondered what it was actually supposed to mean :)
