11:16:59<DrFrasierCrane>tuukkah, have you used gtkhtml as a document view? it blocks sometimes for a few seconds when opening an item with images
11:17:30<DrFrasierCrane>on the console there is "clear", then "open", then the delay and "write", "close"
14:16:51<DrFrasierCrane>folks, that's it, I'm done with this ridiculous fight of mine for every inch of performance when displaying large number of items.. I've been working in Nautilus on two UI issues and I've come to following the GNOME usability list - lots of wise folks there.. I'm going to ask them what is their opinion.. I mean come on, who wants to list 30000 items anyway - it's neither sane nor practical.... I'm officially moving on to other things as of right
14:16:51<DrFrasierCrane> now..
14:17:43<DrFrasierCrane>maybe we can implement some sort of paging, I don't know
17:31:57<DrFrasierCrane>janm, I pushed my changes to master, let just "future" branch die...
17:32:00<DrFrasierCrane>I don't know if I did this right
17:32:15<DrFrasierCrane>I don't know why it changed dates of commits to 2008-04-20
